Altar Guild

The Altar Guild “sets the table” for God’s Service. In small teams, scheduled monthly, the material preparations for worship are handled; the women and men of the Altar Guild taking care of and maintaining the linens, polishing brass and silverware, and trimming the candles. All Saints has several “parish bakers,” who prepare fresh communion bread, and another group
shares responsibility for arranging the flowers for each service. Others help by caring for vestments and robes. Significant occasions, such as weddings, funerals, baptisms, and special celebrations, are also a part of this ministry. In this service, people form friendships and share their time and talents for the love of our church.
If you would like to share your time and talents with the Altar Guild, please contact the church office.

Choir

Everyone at All Saints makes a joyful noise unto the Lord --
but the voices in our Choir -- are awesome!
Music and worship have been inextricably bound together for millennia. From the earliest days of the Church, prayers, psalms, and hymns have been offered to the glory of God as a regular part of worship. Music is yet another way in which we experience God’s presence in our world and in our lives, as well as the beauty of the divine.
At All Saints, music is a very important part of our spiritual life. Music has long been central to the joys of worshipping at All Saints. Our choir provides an important role in the liturgy on Sundays and special services, by leading our congregation in song, choral anthems, psalms, and responses.
Everyone is welcome in the All Saints choir – those who have a lifetime of choral experience and those who have never sung in a choir before! To belong to the choir, simply express your interest.
Practice is usually the half hour before the Sunday 10:30 service.
If you are interested in joining the choir or receiving more information about the choir, please contact Linda Bedell or the Church office.

Restaurant Raiders

Restaurant Raiders is a new take on an old tradition.  It started as traditional supper clubs hosted at parishioners’ houses, but soon transitioned into Restaurant Raiders.  On the second Friday of each month a group of All Saints parishioners “raid” a local restaurant (they have reservations!).  Instead of sitting at one large table, the goal is to sit in smaller groups and catch up with people you haven’t talked to lately.  After dinner, the group returns to one parishioner’s house for dessert and coffee.
If you’re interested in participating in or hosting Restaurant Raiders, please contact Pam and Ron Alexander.

Those Who Serve

Building a Sacred Community

At All Saints Episcopal Church, we have been connecting people to the heart of God since 1959. Some people find their worship experience enriched through serving as a torch bearer, crucifer, altar server or Lay Eucharistic Minister. Anyone who would like more information can contact the rector.
